Corner Lights

If you’re looking to upgrade your stock lights, there are a multitude of different routes you can take. The main sets of lights on your car (the headlights and taillights) can be easily upgraded with aftermarket lenses and bulbs. If you’re going to replace these lights, however, you’ll probably want to think about switching your corner lights as well so that you maintain a clean, consistent look.

Corner lights aren’t found on every car, but many of the latest Japanese and American cars have them. Corner lights are basically the lights to the outside of your headlights or taillights, on the corners of your car. They usually contain signal bulbs that may or may not need to be replaced, depending on which kit you buy.

Most corner light kits are made in the popular clear style, with colored bulbs mounted inside. This is in contrast to the yellow or red lenses that you probably already have on your car. Corner lights stay street legal by replacing large colored lenses with small internal lenses or even colored bulbs. This allows you to get the right (street legal) color without sacrificing the look of your car.
